Show Your Clients Some Love: Ideas for Client Appreciation

Learning Article_Client appreciation

It’s already that time of year again. We are getting ready to head into the holidays. The time of year where everyone is running around like crazy, trying to tie up loose ends before the New Year. We appreciate clients all year, but why not utilize this time to celebrate the people who have helped make our business a success! Here are 6 ideas for you to show your clients how much you appreciate them.

1. Handwritten Cards or Letters

Showing appreciation doesn’t have to be costly. Sending your clients a handwritten note that is genuine, can go a long way! Be sure to include their name, a detail that you want to highlight of your experience with them, and a warm signature!

2. Cute Favors

Whether you have someone deliver cookies or bag up some candy with a bow, cute favors are always a fun way to let people know you’re thinking of them. If your clients are local, consider dropping them off in person.

3. Make a Donation in Their Name

This one is kind of fun and different! Many people have a cause they care about or like to know that the people they do business do something for the community. Make a donation in their name and let them know with a quick video message or in a handwritten card (see idea #1!)

4. Personalized Gifts

There are so many ways to do this these days. A popular choice is laser engraving! I’ve seen cool notebooks, bottles, cups, ornaments, etc! Another great choice is vinyl stickers! Easy way to add a personal flare to any item you find. You can even check with the Ladies in the Business Community to find help with this! Support one of our ladies AND show clients love! Win, Win.

5. Record a Thank You Video & Host a Giveaway

Another affordable way to show appreciation is to post a thank you video on your social media or in an email. If you have time, you could do a quick video message to individual clients. This could be paired with an appreciation giveaway. Pro tip: Raffle off an item(s) from a local business!

6. Host an Event

Sure, it’s a busy time of year. But it’s not uncommon for businesses to host an event to gather clients together to let them know how much they mean to you and your business. These can be fun and many new friendships can develop. For best success, keep in mind others will be hosting holiday events, try to plan ahead and get your invites out early!
Note: Be mindful of all current guidelines for events.
