Kyhra’s LBC Story

1. Have you found your community yet?
When I started my business I didn’t realize how important it was to have a community. I had never needed one before. I was extremely independent and knew I could make this happen.
But what I didn’t realize was all the things that entrepreneurship throws at you and how tough it can get at some points. I felt alone.
Have you every felt this way?
I was going to all the networking things I could and it was always very awkward. There were nice people but it wasn’t very genuine. Then someone suggested I check out the Ladies Business Community.
I was immediately hooked and knew that this was finally my community. Everyone was very open and welcoming, ready to support each other even in the same competing industry.
Since then I have become much more involved with the group and strive to create the same environment for others who need a community of supportive women going through the same things they are as they grow their business.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to have you!

2. Are you looking for more genuine connections?
As I shared above you know that it took me a while to find a community that I could relate to and felt like my people!
Have you found your community yet?
When you find your people those genuine connections just come naturally. It took me a while to figure this out! Being an introvert myself I found it hard to put myself out there. And unfortunately if you don’t no one will know you or your business?
Do you struggle with this?
I never imagined that giving back to others businesses and sharing my knowledge would help my business grow. But once I started supporting others and sharing my expertise with them my business skyrocketed.
The Ladies Business community gave me a platform to make genuine connection where others want to share my name and business. And I want to do the same with theirs!
We like to call this networking beyond the business card and we’d love to make those same connections with you!

3. Do you have a passion for supporting local?
I didn’t really know what it meant to support local until I owned my own business and realized how hard it is to compete with the BIG guys! Sometimes you feel like you can’t ever win.
Do you ever feel that way?
Being part of a community that is full of other local business owners in all industries makes it really easy to support local. I find myself constantly saying, “I know someone who does that!”.
Do you have an army of local referrals?
And it feels so much better to put my dollars in local businesses pocket than the big guys!We would love to grow our community to further support all the wonderful local businesses out there!

4. Would you like to grow your business through strong referral relationships?
Being an introvert, I don’t really like to put myself out there. Nor do I like to directly ask for business. It feels awkward and can sometimes feel like a used car salesman.
Do you ever struggle with this?
It took me a while to learn that there was a more genuine and organic way to gain business. And the best part is, you don’t usually have to ask for the business, it just comes!
When you make more genuine connection with others and give back to their businesses they want to do the same for you.
I love getting to know all the ladies in our community, who they are, and what they do. Then I can easily say to friends when they ask, “hey you should check this person out, they are amazing!”
Once I figured out this secret (shh…don’t tell anyone. Actually tell EVERYONE. This is the best secret sauce ingrowing a business) my business organically began to grow. All these genuine connections I was making were starting to tell their friends and family members. And I do the same in return.
So, I’d love to meet you and make a connection beyond your business card so we both can help each other out!

5. Let’s Connect!
If you have been following along, you probably know that this community has done more for me and my business than I could have every imagined.
Now, I continue to give back to this group of amazing women hoping to do the same for you!
To summarize, the Ladies Business Community is not your typical networking group. We focus on fostering an environment of inclusion and welcomeness. Our hope is that this creates a platform for you to create connections BEYOND the business card. Making genuine, long lasting relationships to help support each other, grow and make an impact on the community.
I am a firm believer that you have to find the community that resonates with you! I have attended many and continue to try new ones out. They are not all a match to my personality. I encourage you to try ours out and see if we are a fit.
We love connecting and growing with other women making it happen in business 🙂
