Let’s Grab Coffee: A Highlight of our Favorite Spokane Area Coffee Shops for Connecting with New Friends

For those of you who tuned in to check out our favorite CDA coffee shops, thank you! We also wanted to highlight our favorites on this side of the border! We will cover our favorite coffee places by area & share what we love about them!

Featured in this article, we will cover the Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, & the east Sprague District! Plus, stick around to the end for a *bonus* location that will take you on a beautiful drive!

Think we missed one? As much as we’d love to say we have been to EVERY coffee shop in the area, we haven’t. So be sure to share your favorite coffee place for us to visit next!

Spokane Valley
The Garden Coffee & Local Eats: 213 S University Rd
Think of the Garden like our local “Cheers” bar (if you’re old enough to remember that show). You’ll always see a friend when you walk in! A fan favorite of our community because of the great local coffee, delicious menu, and the friendly faces as soon as you walk through the door. It’s even owned by one of the ladies who helped make the LBC so special!
If you haven’t been to The Garden yet, be sure to add it to your list for your next meeting!

Parking: Private lot or street parking, free.

Ladder Coffee: 13105 E Sprague Ave
Ladder is a modern, clean environment with plenty of space to meet with your connections! We love the clean lines and crisp feel. They make great coffee and own many locations locally!

Parking lot, free.

Wake Up Call Pines: 1106 N Pines Rd
If you need a Valley location further north, head up Pines to this Wake Up Call. There is plenty of seating inside and the staff is very friendly. You can expect consistent quality of their beverages with the other local Wake Up Call locations.

Rocket Bakery Argonne: 3315 N Argonne Rd
Rocket Bakery might be one of the best places for a slice of cake in Spokane! Generous portions and great flavor selection. Their decadent cakes are a favorite. The coffee is grand as well! This location boasts plenty of seating with private or street parking available. Be advised, that late afternoon meetings can be tricky due to the traffic getting back to the freeway! Keep that in mind when using this location.

Parking: Private lot or street parking, free.

Liberty Lake
BocoPop: 21980 E Country Vista Dr.
Don’t like coffee?? No problem! BocoPop brings the best Boba & Coffee to one spot! Incredibly friendly staff makes this spot worth the stop on its own. There is indoor seating available, but it is fairly limited. So get there early to find a seat.

Parking: Private lot, free.

New Love Coffee: 21802 E Indiana Ave ste 102
A new shop on the north side of the 90, this shop has PLENTY of seating for you and your guest(s)! With great coffee & treat options this is the perfect location for your next meetings.

Parking: Private lot or street parking, free.

East Sprague District
The Rusty Mug: 1916 E Sprague Ave
If you’re in need of a location between the Valley & Downtown, The Rusty Mug is perfect. It’s actually an eccentric vintage store with a coffee shop inside. Its one of few places in town where you can score a cafe affogato! If you don’t know what that is, look it up ASAP! The owners are very kind and do a great job with the store. There are only a couple of tables inside, but they’re usually not taken. If they are, head up the street to our next suggestion!

Parking: street parking, free.

Wake Up Call Sprague: 1722 E Sprague Ave Suite 100
Right up the street from The Rusty Mug, this Wake Up Call has plenty of seating available.
With clean and modern amenities that highlight the old historic Spokane building this WUC is housed in!

Parking: street parking, free

Bonus Coffee Shop Alert!
You know we love a good adventure.
If you’re willing to head south on Pines about 20 minutes from the Valley, you will find the cutest, quietest place on our list.
The Golden Gem Mercantile is located in the beautiful Rockford, WA area. With a fully stocked coffee shop and cute local trinkets to fill your shopping needs, the Golden Gem makes for a perfect girls afternoon. Grab a cup of coffee, roasted by the LaShaw family (owner’s of the Gem), and grab a seat at one of the cozy spots in the building.
LaShaw Ranch Roasters is a local, family owned and operated roastery that has been a huge supporter of the Ladies Business Community & many other local nonprofits in our area. Supporting them is the true definition of supporting local in multiple ways!
18805 S, WA-27, Rockford, WA

Love their coffee? Did you know that the Ladies Business Community has their owned branded coffee, made by LaShaw Ranch Roasters!
