Our Favorite Meeting Spots
Is it just us, or has meeting space been difficult to come by? Here is a list of our favorite spots along with what type of events they’d be great for.
These are free or affordable space options we have used and loved, however we are not affiliated with any of these locations so please reach out to the venue directly for more details and specifics.
1. The Hive, a Spokane Library
This is owned by the Spokane Public Library, but it’s not your typical library space! It is designed for public meeting space & art classes! There are multiple rooms, can accommodate large groups, and they are equipped with full AV, HDMI, Projectors, etc! This is an amazing space.
2. The Garden Coffee & Local Eats
One of our favorites at the Ladies Business Community is the local coffee shop, The Garden. The owner CJ Curtis has created a positive space with good coffee & tasty food! Her space can accommodate small groups throughout the day, but she also rents the space for private events! Reach out to her for details!
Another one of our favorite spots! Centrally located & easy to get to. Amanda LaShaw & her husband have great quality roasts & plenty of space! There is a patio, a large dining area, and a conference room for up to 10! This is a great space to host your meetings.
This beautiful tea house and cafe is conveniently located and has many different options available for your event. They have plenty of space and can accommodate quite a few guests. You can sit on the cafe side or reserve a table in their high tea room. They also allow space rental for after hours events.
The cafe side is available at no cost, during business hours, but as with all of our businesses on this list, please support them and make a purchase from their cafe.
The meeting house is a coffee shop nestled among the residential homes in the Perry District on the South Hill. There is a small conference room suitable for 8-10 people that is closed off by a set of french doors.
For non-profits, there is a space in the Community Building downtown that is wonderful! Free & easy to book.
